Happiness is all the Rage. And it's on sale.

So here's the story;
About 4 years ago I released the 'Misery is all the Rage' pins and patches, at the same time I also had these 'Happiness..' patches made - my plan was to have opposite patches for bad and good days, or to suit pessimists and optimists. When it came to releasing them both, there was just too much bad going on in the world and it didn't feel "right". Fast forward a few years and I'd manage to lose the happy patches in the midst of two studio relocations! I thought they were gone forever but I recently found them, revived the optimist in me, and asked the world of Instagram what I should do with them... and so here they are! They aren't as good quality as my current patches as they were made by an old supplier I no longer use, so they're half price (although they are now classed as "seconds" because the stitching isn't quite as neat, they are still totally wearable and the message is what's important!)

INSTRUCTIONS FOR APPLYING PATCH TO GARMENT

Step 1: Set your hand iron at the hottest temperature setting. Do not use ANY steam!

Step 2: Place your patch in the desired position and place a cloth such as a handkerchief, sheet, tea towel or pillowcase over the top.

Step 3: Press the iron straight down for 35-45 seconds with as much constant pressure as possible. No back and forth movements but you can use slow circular movements.

Step 4: Turn the garment inside-out and repeat steps 2 & 3.

Step 5: Allow the patch to cool down.

Step 6: (optional) Now the patch is attached, you can add a couple of stitches to the corners for extra-safe secureness! Alternatively, if you are a sewing whizz you can just sew the patch into place and then there is no need for ironing at all!
